Everybody Can Do Triathlon

People will say I can’t possibly do a triathlon, but they are wrong. 

Everybody can do triathlon.

Triathlon is a swim, a bike and a run.

It doesn’t mean that you’ve got to do it fast and be all techie.

It just means turn up, go in the swimming pool, do a swim. 

You get out, get dry a bit and off you go on your bike.

Your bike can be one with the shopping baskets on.

It doesn’t matter, as long as it’s serviceable. 

Then you get off your bike and you go for a run. 

Does it mean to say that you’ve got to run?

You can actually walk.

Then you’re finished. 

You’re a triathlete. 

You’ve done three things in a row.

Everybody can do a triathlon.

Sprint distances will probably take at most an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the distance between super sprint and sprint. 

Everybody will think well, I could do the Great North Run.

Most people will take more than three hours to do that. 

So here you go. 

You can do a triathlon in half the time it would take the average person to do the Great North Run.
