What if I missed training due to illness or work?
Well, this is something that I in particular, got a lot of sympathy with over the last couple of weeks, having both been poorly and then subsequently really busy at work.
The best thing that you can do is not worry about it because the training that you’ve missed is gone.
Don’t try and squeeze it in or cram like you would do for an exam with training because you’ll just get ill again or injured, which is even worse.
Forget about the training that you’ve missed and focus on the training that’s to come.
Again, having a coach who can go through these concerns and anxieties with you, rewrite your training block, rewrite your training plan is really helpful.
If you haven’t got that and you’re working from a generic plan, then just forget about what you’ve not done.
Move on to the next day and take it a day at a time.
